01 Oct Alberto García-Alix opens Rubí International Photography Festival

Alberto García-Alix opens La Nuu, the international photography festival of Rubí (Barcelona). The photographer will offer his lecture “Absence as a stimulus” at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 3rd, at Rubí Municipal Athenaeum.

Conceived as a visual lecture, García-Alix reflects on how absence, its existence and vital stimulus, influences and is reflected in his work, serving as a guiding thread and catalyst in his photographs.

Interspersed with the text of his dissertation, the author presents sixty-eight images, most of which are previously unpublished and taken over the last fifteen years.

After the lecture, there will be a discussion with Carles Mercader, director of La Nuu, and the audience.
