A false horizon

In his work “A false horizon” Alberto García-Alix deconstructs reality through photography and offers an emotional diary through his own imagination, described by the photographer himself as “a world of modified observations, captured in a moment of eternal silence What is visible here is a metaphor for oneself or for a thought. A thought, a revelation that becomes a monologue, and which unfolds on the horizon. A false horizon … “.

The book includes a broad selection of his best unpublished images of recent years: urban landscapes, still-lifes, abstracts, portraits, self-portraits… It was published on the occasion of the Alberto García-Alix exhibition: a false horizon, organized by the Maison Europèenne de la Photographie in Paris, in association with AC/ E (Spanish Cultural Action). The exhibition was backed by Kamel Mennour (Paris) and Juana de Aizpuru (Madrid) galleries.
